SUBJECT: Declaration of Executive Vacancies, Electoral Roadmap and Call for Nominations
Dear Members,
Pursuant to the SICOCUSA Constitution and the mandate vested in the Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) to conduct free, fair, and transparent student elections, we hereby declare all leadership positions vacant.
We officially invite qualified, driven and visionary student leaders from Siaya County to submit their nomination papers according to the comprehensive roadmap detailed below.
1. VACANT PORTFOLIOS
A. Sub-County & Ward Representative Organs
- Sub-County Coordinators: Alego Usonga, Bondo, Gem, Rarieda, Ugenya, Ugunja
- Ward Student Representatives: All 30 Wards of Siaya County
B. National Executive Council (Top Positions)
- President / Chairperson
- Vice President / Vice Chairperson
- Secretary General
- Organizing Secretary
- Treasurer
- Publicity Secretary / Corporate Communications
- Gender & Social Welfare Secretary
2. GENERAL ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
To contest for any seat, aspirants must satisfy the following criteria:
- Must be a fully registered member of SICOCUSA with a valid digital membership card.
- Must be an active student in an accredited college or university.
- For Wards/Sub-Counties: Must be a verified resident of that specific voting area.
- Must maintain good academic standing with zero disciplinary issues at your institution.

4. APPLICATION PROCESS
Interested candidates must submit their nomination dossiers between 2nd June and 30th June 2026 via the official online link.
Required Documents:
- Completed Nomination Form (clearly indicating the specific seat and Ward/Sub-County).
- A formal Letter of Intent and a brief manifesto outline.
Note: Late submissions past 30th June 2026 at 5:00 PM EAT will strictly not be accepted.
